MTHL Mumbai Trans Harbour Link Fact

MTHL will be inaugurated by Indian Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on 12 January'24.

It will be the longest sea bridge in India and the 12th longest in the world.

It will start from Sewri Mumbai and end at Nhava Sheva Chirle Village.

MTHL is 22 km long, on land it will 5.5 Kms and on Sea it will 16.5 kms.

The toll fare will be 250 for a one-way trip on the MTHL Bridge.

Vehicles traveling via MTHL would not have to stop on the bridge to pay tolls owing to the Open Tolling System (OTS).

MTHL is built with 1,40,000 tons of reinforcement steel which is equivalent to 17 Eiffel Towers.

MTHL is estimated to save one crore litres of fuel annually.

MTHL will reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 25,680 million tons.

This longest sea bridge will accommodate a daily capacity of 50,000 - 60,000 vehicles.
