  4. Scale of Pay : Pay Matrix Level – 11 (Rs. 67700 – 208700) (pre-revised pay scale of PB-3 + G.P. Rs. 6600).
  5. Method of Recruitment : By transfer on deputation.
  6. Period of Deputation : Initially of one year (maximum three years).
  7. Eligibility Condition : Officers under the central / state governments.


  • Diploma in Printing Technology from a recognized University / Institution or Degree or a recognized University or equivalent.
  • 7 Years experience in a supervisory capacity in a Printing and Publishing House / Advertising Agency / Publicity firm of repute / Government Organization engaged in bringing out books, pamphlets, magazines, folders, posters, etc.
  • Practical experience in different processes of printing, layout photography, art work, costing and estimating etc.

Pay Structure

The pay of officers selected will be regulated in accordance with the provisions contained in DoPT’s O.M. No. 6/8/2009 – Esst. (Pay II) dated 17th June, 2010.

Job Requirement

To look after the printing of publicity material such as posters, folders, leaflets, booklets, broadsheets, etc.

This Ministry desires to fill up 01 post of Production Manager (Printed Publicity) / Production Officer (Production) {General Central Service, Group ‘A’, Gazetted, Non-Ministerial in the Pay Matrix Level-11 as per 7th CPC recommendation (Pay matrix level-11)}.

  • The period of deputation will be initially for a period of one year which may be extended at the discretion of the appointing authority.  The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation is 56 years, as on closing date of receipt of applications.
