THDC India Limited (formerly Tehri Hydro Development Corporation Limited) is under the ownership of National Thermal Power Corporation Limited, Ministry of Power, Government of India. It was incorporated in July 1988 to develop, operate, and maintain the Tehri Hydro Power Complex and other Hydro Projects.
At present the company has four power plants in operation namely Tehri Dam (1000 MW), Koteshwar Dam (400 MW), 50 MW Wind project in Patan (Gujarat), and 63 MW Wind project in Dwarka (Gujarat). In addition, more than 10 projects are under various stages of construction. Tehri PSP (1000 MW) and Vishnugad-Pipalkoti HEP (444 MW) are in the advanced stage and are expected to be commissioned by 2024. THDCIL has also ventured into thermal power generation with its 1320 MW Thermal Power project coming up near Dussehera village which is near Khurja, District Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh. The project is at an advanced stage and is expected to be commissioned by 2024.
THDC signed an MOU with the Government of Rajasthan to develop 10,000 MW solar parks in the state. THDC is also entrusted to develop 1200 MW Kalia-II and 1750 MW Demwe(Lower) HEP in the Lohit basin of Arunachal Pradesh.

Post qualification executive experience of 20 years in executive/officer/ cadre out of which minimum 3 years in immediate lower grade/scale (CDA/IDA) IDA : 90,000 – 3% – 2,40,000. Equivalent CTC for private sectors : Rs 30 Lakhs Per Annum.
- For Officers working in CPSU/Govt departments.
- Must have 20 years of experience in executive/officer cadre out of which minimum 3 years in immediate lower grade/scale (CDA/IDA).
- Must have impeccable drafting skills and proven experience in drafting petitions, counter-affidavits, written statements, rejoinders etc.
- Must have experience in vetting and preparing legal documents, providing legal opinion, handling legal matters including issues pertaining to joint ventures, Regulatory matters, insolvency matters, etc.
2. For legal Practitioners.
- Must have at least 20 years of experience of practicing as an Advocate before District Court/High Court/Supreme Court/Tribunals, in matters relating to Commercial Disputes, Arbitration, Land Acquisition, Constitutional Law, Labour Law, Service law, Insolvency Proceedings or other matters of Civil nature. Preference will be given to advocates practicing before Supreme court and high courts. CTC for private sectors is Rs 30 lakhs per annum.
- Must have at least 20 judgements in his names as advocate within a span of last 15 years.
- Must be impeccable drafting skills and proven experience in drafting petitions, counter-affidavits, written statements, rejoinders, etc.
- Must have experience in vetting and preparing legal documents, providing legal opinion, handling legal matters including issues pertaining to joint ventures, regulatory matters, insolvency matters, etc.

- Candidates meeting the eligibility creteria will be shortlisted for the personal interview.
- Candidates must qualify in personal interview in order to be considered for the emplanelment.
- Applicants should have sound health. Before joining candidates will have to undergoe medical examination by CMO of any Govt hospitals.

Compensation Package in THDC | टीएचडीसी में मुआवजा पैकेज
The organization offers a very attractive pay package and is on of the best in a the Power Sector industry. Selected candidates in the post Dy. General Manager in discipline of Law in E-7 level on Regular basis will be placed at minimum basic pay of Rs. 1,00,000 in the pay scale of Rs 1,00.000 – 3% – 2,60,600 (IDA). Protection of basic pay in case of PSU and Govt. Employees as per DPE guidelines issued from time to time.
Registration Fees
Candidates belonging to General (UR/OBC/NCL/EWS) category are required to pay non-refundable registration fees of Rs 600/- (six hundred only) through online mode.
SC/ST/PwBDs/EX-SM/Departmental candidates (THDCIL Employees only) / Doob Kshetra of THDCIL need to pay the registration fees.
